While helping my student, Adam, trace his family history we found a connection to the Prohibition era in the newspaper archives. His 2X great-grandfather was Napoleon Cayer of Rumford, Maine. You can see a picture of Napoleon

Adam's tree has deep roots in Quebec, New Brunswick, and northern Maine.
